Description
A nice example of the rarer Escher or Carré glass handkerchief vase, by Chance Glass, England.
Circa 1970s vintage; it was introduced in 1974.
The original name for this vase was Carré, but the geometric print vase was nicknamed ‘Escher’ after the artist Maurits Escher who produced many surrealistic prints along this style.
The pattern has geometric angles giving it a 3D impression.
It’s a royal blue with white print on clear glass and is the 4″ version.
Very good clean and very collectable condition.
The baseline looks very good.
No loss of print or signs of wear or marks.
4″ tall x 5.5″ wide.
Medium parcel due to fragile nature and extra padding needed.
