Description

A darling little vintage art glass vase, designed by Frank Thrower and hand made for Dartington, Devon, England.
The design originated in 1983 and is FT338.
It’s a hard to find ‘Acorn Vase’ designed to hold a single acorn above water to grow an oak tree.
It comes boxed with instructions.
It can also be used as a tiny posy vase for a few shorter stems.

Mouth blown/hand made with wider base, narrow neck and upper holder cup.
Bright clear 24% lead crystal content glass with original black sticker.
Flat polished rim.

It’s in good condition, there’s a small surface mark to the left side of the sticker and some small marks inside I can’t get to.
Box is good for age.
A diddy little 7cm tall x 4.5cm widest.
