A lovely collectable vintage art plate, ideal as a wall hanging or for use.
It’s by Denby Tableware Ltd and is a plate from the Glynware range.
This range by Glyn A Colledge was hand decorated and individually designed, making each plate unique.
Circa mid to late 1970s.
Unusually, this comes boxed with its original plastic protective wrap, the brown 1970s folded leaflet, and typed information sheet. The leaflet is great with fab old photos and graphics/fonts showing the making process.
Plate is a heavy stoneware type pottery.
The hand painted decor is autumn/harvest leaves and fronds in dark red, brown and duck egg blue.
25cm wide.
Excellent.
