Description
An Eric Leaper vintage large long ceramic platter/plate/dish.
It’s hand painted with a bamboo design – dark green and duck egg greens over pale blue.
Leaper was at his Newlyn Cornish studio from 1954-1980, so probably from the 1970s era.
It’s incised signed to the reverse.
The pottery/clay dish is long and oblong (it’s big!).
45cm x 20.5cm x 2.5cm high.
Vintage condition.
Looks good on display, you can see some crazing when you get closer.
One very fine hard to find hairline with a tiny vintage chip underneath next to it. See photos.
Some areas of thinner glaze.
