Description
A striking fabulous ceramic/pottery vase – probably by Scheurich, West Germany.
Unknown shape and model – as the impressed base information has too much lava over it!
Dating from the fat lava 1960s/1970s era.
We have lots of lava textures here…
Black burst bubbles and fat lava lines with frothy whites over a tan brown glossy glaze.
The brown has some ‘resist’ shapes with diamonds drawn on.
It’s a round squat wide ball vase.
Mid Century Modern and retro in styling – perfect statement for your teak sideboard.
Glossy brown inside. Rounded rim.
I can only read ‘W.Ge’ from West Germany.
17cm widest, 15.5cm tall.
Very good with no chips or cracks – please see pictures.
