A lovely Goebel West German grey bird figurine.
It’s model number CV31 which is supposedly a Redstart, but this is a grey bird.
Looks more like a grey magpie or wagtail to me.
The old logo dates the piece to 1960-1972, so likely 1960s vintage.
Moulded porcelain, hand painted, glossy glazes.
Roughly 7.5 x 8.5cm tall.
A small figurine, suited to a collector or these lovely sculptures.
Very good condition with no visible damage.
