A larger art glass candle holder or snack bowl by Holmegaard of Copenhagen, Denmark.
Designed by Sidse Werner for Holmegaard Glass in the 1970s or so, so from that era.
The design is ‘Water-lily’ (aka Akande).
It’s shaped like an opening flower with icy textured outer petals or leaves.
The heavy clear pressed glass has a slight hint of aqua blue.
Smooth inside and textured outside.
A larger sized heavy art glass bowl or large candle holder/votive.
17cm wide x 9cm high – a big and chunky 1.3kg.
Very good condition.

Probably hand blown, moulded and hand finished.
Perfect for fancy dining, snacking, or to go with other candle holders.
