Description
A lovely vintage handmade/mouth blown Mdina (Malta) art glass vase.
Sea and Sand patterns, as designed by Michael Harris and probably from his era at Mdina (late 1960s to early 1970s).
Unsigned, flat polished base.
A good sized cylinder vase, 8 inches, with bark like rippled wobbly textures and all the complex colour splatters within.
Deep blue, turquoise blue, cloudy pale blue with ochre/gold splatters, cased in clear (transparent to the top half).
There’s a lot going on!
20cm tall x 8cm widest.
Good condition with no chips.
Rim has a wobble, which I like, but is probably a historic repair.
