Description
A lovely vintage 1970s Mdina solid glass paperweight, with top knob.
Half Chevron half Sea and Sand patterns, as designed by Michael Harris and probably from just after his era at Mdina.
Unsigned, flat polished base.
Deep blue, dusky blue, turquoise blue in a twisted linear pattern with ochre/gold splatters, cased in clear.
The inner pattern is also a bit Sfumato.
A mid sized 9.5cm tall x 7cm.
Good condition, a few tiny signs of age.
Base has two burst air bubbles.
Some ‘crizzling’ around the narrow neck from time of production – part of it being handmade.
