A beautiful, stylish and statement large art glass bowl/ashtray from the 1960s by Rudolf Jurnikl for Rosice Glassworks, Sklo Union.
Czech/Bohemian and dating from around 1962.
Pattern no 1045 – a curving sculptural circular shape made from pressed glass.
Mid-century modernist and retro in style.
It’s an amethyst tone of pale purple/lilac.
Mouth blown into a mould.
Very good condition. Minimal signs of age – I’d give it 8.5/10.
