A cute 1970s art glass Hedgehog ornament…
Made by Pukeberg, Sweden, he’s round and chunky, solid and heavy. Clear moulded glass with an icy feel. He has random pyramid-like spikes, and two indented little eyes near his snout – all stylised. Late mid century Scandinavian and retro in style. The design is by Stig Kärrstrand. Uno Westerberg designed lots of similar icy/blocky figurines for Pukeberg.
7cm tall x 9.5cm wide long x 7cm deep.
Great condition! Being pressed glass he has deliberate moulding lines from time of production.
