Description
A matching pair of large Mid-century candle holders with a cow parsley relief pattern on its four ‘leaves’.
3D seed head patterns and bark-like textures are on the outsides, smooth inners.
Handmade by Finnish glass manufacturer Mantsalan Lasisepat and designed by Pertti Kallioinen.
1970s or 1980s vintage.
Suitable for both a tealight or pillar candle.
They’re the bigger and taller version of the design so also usable as a bowl/dish – perfect for nibbles/Christmas.
Very good condition with no chips or anything.
The photos don’t do them justice – they’re Scandinavian high quality bright clear pressed art glass, heavily textured, with a crystal ‘ring’ to them.
They display very well and catch the light beautifully, quite stunning.
11cm tall x 13.8cm wide at rim, 7cm wide at base. Quite weighty – they weigh 500g each.
Pressed crystal glass.
