Description
A Zanfirico technique art glass candle holder.
A green and white glass dish with zanfirico white filigree, twisted green ribbons and a splash of copper aventurine, all cased in clear glass.
The heart shaped bowl or dish has a central taper dinner candle holder, with white filligree twisted pattern and fancy rim.
The chamber stick style holder has a small clear glass handle, and simple glass foot.
Made in Murano, Italy, it is probably by AVEM as typical of their colours and ribbons.
Mouth blown, handmade, and circa 1950s-1970s mid century vintage.
Unused. More ornamental and decorative.
I can’t see any flaws, but with all the complex patterns it’s hard to tell.
No sharp edges or chips.
12cm longest x 9.5cm widest x 8cm tall.
The inner cup/holder is 1.6cm wide so suited to a slimmer taper candle if used.
