Description

A super Poole Pottery art plate by Loretta Leigh and dating from 1970.

The oval dish is shape no 361, it’s hand signed LL to the back – she only worked there in 1970.

Orange with splashes of yellow glaze, with black ‘eyes with glasses’ abstract painting/decor.

The black is like a fat lava glaze, thick and textured.

17.5 x 10.5cm roughly.

Shallow ceramic dish, glazed white underneath.

Very good with no chips or cracks.

Some crazing to the back.
