Description
A porcelain miniature plate from the ‘Miniature Plates of World’s Greatest Porcelain Houses’ collection.
It was a limited edition from Franklin Mint, circa 1981/1982.
The collectable plates (also including AK Kaiser and Royal Doulton) showcased the world’s greatest porcelain manufacturers, and this one represents Porsgrund, Norway.
The design is by Grete Ronning – in a simple mid century arty style.
The stylised image depicts a flock of blue geese flying over fields, just blue and white.
Porcelain.
Just 7.5cm wide, flat and shallow.
Could be mounted, hung (hole to the back) or popped up, or used as a small candle holder.
