A lovely Riihimaki art glass vase, model number 1479.
Circa 1960s to 1970s vintage, mid century modern era and of that Scandi modernist style.
A vibrant pure red colour, cased in clear.
Smooth rim. Curvy hourglass shape.
A nice sized 10″ or 25cm tall x 9.5cm widest, 5cm rim.
Very good condition with no chips/nibbles.
A very slight water mark but hard to see due to the rich colour.
Some small tiny natural bubbles.
Base shows some age.
Handmade, mouth blown using a mould.
