Description
A fun ball-shaped pottery bowl/vase.
It’s been handmade with star shapes and wiggly pottery worms, pressed inside a former to make the round shape.
The stars are glazed an ivory tone with khaki green tones.
The wiggly bits are a darker khaki brown green.
Nice wiggly rim, glazed ivory inside.
The lower parts are unglazed and natural clay colours.
Unsigned – an amateur potter piece. English.
Likely to be vintage.
18cm tallest x 18cm widest. Inner rim is about 10cm.
Heavy.
Very good condition.
One star on the rim line has a chip to the end of the point (1st pic).
One drip of paint on it (5th pic).

A bit of fun, suited to a fan of the stars/space age pottery.
