Description
A lovely ashtray/bowl Nermsova glassworks, and later the Rosice glassworks (part of the Sklo Union group).
Designed by Václav Hanuš, pattern number 5116.
Vintage 1960s/1970s Czech/Bohemian pressed art glass.
The colour is a light citrus yellow – citrine.
The shape is rounded rectangular with two indents each end for a cigar.
Moulded pressed glass, heavy and solid yet tactile with feature base ridges.
Very good condition (for 50+ years old!).
Some natural small bubbles from being handmade – one pictured.
Good base.
A small nibble to the outer rimline that I’ve just noticed and not photographed.
Looks good, displays well.
