A super vintage mid century Norwegian wood carving of a bear.
Carved and handmade from solid teak.
Stamped to the base with ‘Genuine Teak, Made in Norway’.
Very much in the style of Arne Tjomsland, but the maker is unknown.
Nice natural teak finish, showing the reddy grains.
Circa 1960s, a nicely simplified Modernist figure.
Please study photos for condition.
He’s not been re-finished and has a natural teak sheen.
One little slither off a front paw, but probably as from at the time as it blends in.
10cm tall x 12cm long x 6.5cm wide.
