Description

A lovely vintage boxed 1970s-1990s pendant and necklace. The gorgeous pewter pendant is by Ceard, and was made in Scotland (signed to the reverse).

This particular design is ‘Glamis’ – a fabulous castle in Angus, Scotland. The cental turreted building is surrounded by stylised trees, see pics. All simplified and artisan, a lovely piece of Brutalist/Modernist openwork imagery within a smooth contrasting round frame.

It’s unisex and of a good noticeable size – suitable gift for all, from Scots, to explorers, to history-lovers to hippie-chicks. The good-sized pendant is oblong: 55mm wide x 3 to 4cm high, and relatively flat. The fine steel curb chain is 23″ long – so it sits at the chest. It has a spring ring, but is slip on too. Original box is grey velvet and is lined with black.

Very good condition, in original box. A striking unisex vintage necklace – perfect gift idea for him or her!
