A rare Kenneth Townsend tile trivet…
It features a 15x15cm Kenneth Townsend tile featuring ‘Spikey Cat’, no 18 from his Menagerie series of 25 animal tiles.
Circa 1970s.
The tile is mounted in a black metal trivet stand with carry handles and four foot pads.
The tile is stamped to the reverse with Kenneth’s logo.
Good used condition.
The tile has crazing and the metal has natural ageing and some rust.
The tile has no obvious chips, the dark marks around the edges have just come off with a fingernail!
Overall 20.5 x 15.5 x 4.5cm.
Great for a collector 🙂
