A lovely art glass ashtray, more for show and style than use.
It’s crystal content – reflects the light beautifully.
Faceted, cut polished 8 sides.
Diamond shaped with cut ends, each end has two channels for cigarettes.
Central oval bowl.
Flat polished top and base.
Art Deco style but probably more mid century modern.
Circa 1960s.
Possibly French or Czech – it’s a quality handmade solid glass piece.
15 x 9 x 4.5cm.
Very good.
No maker’s marks to the base that I can see.
A few tiny fleabites, shown, too small to make any difference.
A beautiful piece for show.
