Description
A vintage Murano (Italy) art glass bowl/ashtray/dish.
Circa 1950s-1960s mid century.
Similar to those by Barrovier and Toso, so possibly by them.
The amber/gold coloured glass bowl, is oval with two indented sides (would have been a fancy ashtray back in the day). It has scalloped edges. There are controlled bubbles within and it’s cased on the outside with silver flakes and clear glass.
Flat polished base is used and typical of the age/era. See pics.
Good used condition. No chips but small signs of its 1950s-1960s age.
