A big vintage 1960s/1970s plant pot holder, maybe by Jopeko or Strehla, West Germany.
Retro style, straight sided with glossy bright colours.
Royal blue top and bottom with a central panel of red and duck egg green with fizzy black and liquid glaze bleeds – hand drawn fat lava style patterns.
No base stamp, just incised ’11’. Black glaze inside.
A larger size.
15cm tall x 16.5cm wide at the rim.
It would fit a flower pot up to 15cm tall x 15cm wide.
For indoor use only. No stamp to base.
Very good used condition.
A small baseline chip.
An area of thinner glaze to the rim.
Some water marks inside.
