Description
A super Whitefriars art glass vase, from Baxter’s textured range from around 1967.
The Indigo colour was short lived in this range so dating from around that year.
Mouth blown into a mould, indigo glass cased in clear glass, with a spiral S pattern front and back and narrower curved sides.
7″ tall or 18cm x 12.5cm x 7.5cm deep.
Typical WF polished pontil.
Very good clean condition with no chips or scratches that I can see/feel.
The rim has a tiny white surface inclusion (shown) and a teeny invisible impact that you can’t see to one side.
Otherwise excellent with hardly any wear to the base, no water marks, no weird bubbles or anything.
