A lovely art pottery bud vase by Bitossi, Italy.
Hand signed with model no ‘V222/18’.
By Aldo Londi (I believe).
Circa 1950s mid century vintage.
A smooth bulbous vase with narrow neck and rim, suited to just one stem if used.
White glaze with a turquoise and red stripe, with black vertical and zig-zaggy drawn lines over.
Very good with no crazing. There’s a hidden subtle rim line chip that you can’t see on display.
The rim has a lighter glazing patch.
18cm tall x 8cm widest x 1.8cm rim.
