A super art pottery small bowl by David T Sharp Pottery, Rye, Sussex.

Handmade, thrown on a wheel, and hand decorated.
Circa 1970s vintage. 

Muted minty or duck egg blue/green with a neutral matt beige and white.
The bowl has a neutral matt brown/beige with the glossy glaze over.
It has shapes which must have been painted on with wax or similar.
The wax resist has made lovely bubbles and spots of glossy colour, and contrast of textures.
White clay base.

Hand signed to the base.
Very good with no chips or crazing.
A functional small bowl – nut or jewellery sized.
Minimal natural firing cracking to the white clay base.
10cm wide or 4″ x just over 4cm tall.
