A beautiful tactile Kosta Boda Snowball – Scandinavian candle holder (votive), made in Sweden.
I believe it’s 24% lead crystal.
Could be up to 45 years old, but more likely 1990s.
These are all different, so there are differing moulding marks, seams/lines, bubbles.
I’ve shown it from every angle so you can see all the icy undulations.
I think this is a knobblier version with the etch signed base.
Very good condition with no noticeable flaws or chips, clean and bright.
Has a slight wobble on a hard surface, being handmade.
Very clean with no real signs of previous use.
Apx 7.5cm high x 9cm wide – so the middle size available.
Heavy moulded crystal glass, weighs a hefty 730g.
Suitable for both a tealight candle and a small pillar candle (hole is apx 4.2cm wide).
