A super 1950s deer figurine, possibly by Marion Campbell for Ulrome (Hornsea).
It’s a stylised modernist deer with exaggerated cute big ears.
She’s laying and looking sideways.
Satin black over fine white ceramic.
No base marks.
Great condition with no chips or anything.
Some areas of thinner glaze around edges.
13cm tall x 9cm wide x 4.5cm deep.
Would certainly be in-keeping with Ulrome’s black animal figurines.
