Description
A striking 1970s or 1980s Waechtersbach set of five cups and saucers, from West Germany.
A hard to find design – vivid red glossy chunky ceramic or stoneware with white dots and a butterfly each side slightly indented/stencilled around the body. The contrasting white saucers have a subtle scalloped edge.
Excellent condition and in unused condition. Stamped to all bases with the Waechtersbach West German logo.
Cups are 6cm tall x 9cm widest. Saucers are 15cm wide.
Probably more suited for a collector.
